Straining for a glimpse of fertile soil, a ship is found leaking, the powers do toil.

Below the bowels are aching, stressed from the weight of the water she taking.
Shouts of concern race through the halls.  The alarm is faint, barely piercing through walls.
Crew and common gather in awe, as the captain stands pointing strong and tall.
I’ve answered your prayers, and restored your faith.  In turn I ask for an oath to partake.
Your vow to me is a bond to all.  It limits the large and raises the small.
Give unto me the plight in your life, and I will lead to a grand new height.

Retreating from the thunderous applause, the captain retires with the masters of laws.
Gathering within the confines of his quarters, they worry about riches, dividing the plunders.
How long will this last?  The cry from beneath grows louder and louder.  This won’t work forever.
Should the leakage continue we will surely lose cover.  They are bound to find out sooner or later.
We must quite the call, we must kill this traitor.
Let us round up the men, and ask them to serve.  Tell them they’re needed, and challenge their nerve.

Blur their focus and distract them with games.  Let their minds be saturated one in the same.
When push comes to shove force won’t be needed.  They’ll give in not knowing that they’re defeated.
We can take what we want, dispose of the rest.  We will escape the collapse and leave with the best.
